OFFERINGS

Professional Development

  • Customizable Wellness Sessions
    Wellness sessions that focus on topics to build resilience, presence, energy preservation, and a compassionate community. Topics and session length co-determined by facilitator and individual school based on the school's mission, needs, and wishes. Sessions can be a one-time offering or a series throughout the year.

  • Workshops & Retreats
    One-day or multi-day interactive sessions to develop mindful awareness, facilitate discussion and reflection, and promote attainable and sustainable practices to be well.

    Components can include any or all of the following: moments of silence, mindful movement, journaling, reflection, and guided practices around concepts of mindfulness and wellness, talks, focus on breath and body regulating strategies, and matters of the heart.

    The location of workshops and retreats to be determined by organization and/or facilitator(s).

  • Leadership & Teams Consultation

    Sessions for leaders, teams, and individuals intended to listen and to provide ideas, practices, and skills that create a school ecosystem that emphasizes a lived collective culture of wellbeing and peace.

    It is a process of identifying and defining the need or area, recommending a course of action, and helping plan implementation. These sessions can be a short-term or long-term commitment and customized to fit the needs of the school or building.

Classroom Mindfulness

  • Mindfulness will be conducted as a series of push-in lessons taught once or twice per week. It is direct instruction of mindfulness topics that can include any or all of the following practices: connect and share, reflect, teach, engage and practice, generalization.

  • The baseline program offers 16 lessons lasting 15-20 minutes each week, and the number and length of lessons can be customized to fit the needs of the setting and circumstances. Topics can be determined by the facilitator and other stakeholders within the school or educational organization.

Teachers and students deserve to be well. Explicit instruction and practice on how to do this is essential to being able to calm the mind and body, improve academic and social wellbeing, and manage stress. Scholarly research shows this.
