JENNIFER KNOWLES, FOUNDER
After nearly 20 years working in various classroom settings, the last 4 years have earned Jennifer Knowles a reputation as the go-to mindfulness resource for all people. Once a classroom teacher, a literacy coach, and a staff developer, Jen became a certified mindful instructor through Mindful Schools.
In her career as a mindfulness instructor, Jennifer successfully piloted and implemented the PAUSE program in partnership with the Center for Mindful Living and Hamilton County Schools. The majority of her professional work involves developing and implementing mindfulness-based wellness programming with and for people within educational settings, as well as, teaching mindfulness to children in classroom settings.
More recently, Jen has branched out into supporting businesses and organizations in offering and developing mindfulness and wellness habits of mind, body, and interaction. She also works with individuals and families in their homes as she believes families should have opportunities to grow better together.
Jennifer’s mission is to plant as many seeds of mindfulness and wellbeing as she can and stay true to her core values: play, keep people safe, create choice, and stay open.
